ABOUT

OUR CLINIC

At Murray Chiropractic our mission is to create an environment filled with love, happiness and hope in which your life's potential may be enhanced through chiropractic care.

Murray Chiropractic was established in 1987, by Earl Murray, and has been providing quality chiropractic care to patients from Toowoomba and surrounding regions for nearly 30 years. Earl is joined by chiropractors, Deanne, James, Daniel, Seamus and Fraser, who are also passionate about providing exceptional care to our patients.

The success of Murray Chiropractic relies largely on continued referrals from our patients who have experienced the positive benefits of chiropractic care first-hand. We warmly welcome friends and family for chiropractic care and will strive to provide them with excellent care aimed at achieving their individual health goals.  We will freely refer our patients to other external health pracitioners if we believe we can not achieve the results they deserve.

Recent renovations at the clinic have allowed for more practitioners to join our multidisciplinary clinic. We recently welcomed a remedial massage therapist and we are happy to recommend new and existing patients for relaxation and remedial massage.

We take great pride in providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our patients and their families.

We look forward to welcoming you into the Murray Chiropractic family and helping you meet your health and wellness goals.

OUR CHIROPRACTORS

EARL MURRAY
Doctor of Chiropractic
B. Sc., Grad. Dip. Ch, D. O

I grew up in Sydney and was an active teenager. When a sporting injury prevented me from surfing and playing sport, chiropractic gave me my normal life back and inspired me to help others. I studied chiropractic at the University of New South Wales and the Sydney College of Chiropractic, graduating in 1983. I moved to Toowoomba and established Murray Chiropractic in 1987. My wife, Kym, and I we have four children. I enjoy cycling, snow skiing, surfing and restoring and racing old Fiat cars.

I believe with all my heart in the prinicipal of chiropractic that if you find and remove the physical, emotional and biochemical causes of interference to the nervous system the body can express its inherent potential of health and happiness. I believe in how I practise and always strive to improve it. I enjoy caring for pregnant women, babies and children.

DEANNE MILLIST
Doctor of Chiropractic
B. App Sc. (Ex&Sp.Sc), M.Chiro

During my undergraduate studies in exercise and sports science, a soccer injury prompted me to visit a chiropractor where I was introduced to chiropractic's healing power. I studied a Masters in Chiropractic at Macquarie University, in Sydney.

I moved to Toowoomba in 2011, where I met my husband and now have a daughter, Hope. We love living in Toowoomba and find it a wonderful community to be a part of. I enjoy spending time outdoors, gardening, visiting new places and snowboarding.

I love working with people of all ages and since becoming a mother, I have an increased interest in the wellbeing of babies and children, as well as the importance of chiropractic care through pregnancy.

JAMES COATS
Doctor of Chiropractic
B. Chiro. Sc., M. Chiro

My chiropractic journey first started as a patient in this very clinic at school age. My care here sparked a passion for learning how the human body worked and led me to study Chiropractic at Macquarie University. During my last year of study, I was fortunate to be able to provide volunteer care to impoverished communities in India. This experience truly opened my eyes to the power of an adjustment and will forever influence how I practise.

Returning to Toowoomba to work has been an incredible opportunity to practise my passion and to become involved in the community, particularly through tennis, soccer, futsal and cycling. Chiropractic for me is about forming a connection with a person and understanding their unique story.

DANIEL LEGGEREIT

Doctor of Chiropractic
B. Chiro. Sc., M. Chiro

I first experienced chiropractic care after years of low back pain, from my original career as a concreter. I was so inspired by the Chiropractic philosophy that I decided to change profession and study chiropractic at Macquarie University, in Sydney. I am particularly interested in nutrition and biochemistry, after a long history of digestive problems and chronic fatigue syndrome. My interest include cooking, fitness and playing the guitar.

My goal in chiropractic is to continually learn ways to overcome and manage the physical, chemical and emotional stresses of life through chiropractic's unique philosophy. For me, chiropractic is about helping people achieve and maintain their optimal health.

SEAMUS MURRAY
Doctor of Chiropractic
B. Chiro. Sc., M. Chiro.

Chiropractic has been a part of my life since birth. It has supported me to grow up happy and healthy.  I chose to study chiropractic at Macquarie University in Sydney and have since returned to Toowoomba to give back and help the local community.

I love the beauty of the great outdoors and enjoy mountain biking, skiing and camping. I believe chiropractic can help us thrive by allowing our nervous system to do its best work.

I love checking the spines of babies, athletes, farmer and families from all walks of life. I am passionate about serving the community with chiropractic care and support so that more people can live life to the fullest.

LACHLAN HENDERSON
Doctor of Chiropractic
B. Sc (Chiro), M. Clin. Chiro

My chiropractic journey began at a young age, in this very clinic, following a rugby injury. After experiencing the incredible benefits firsthand, chiropractic has been a part of my life ever since. The undeniable impact that chiropractic care had on my overall health and wellbeing inspired me to become a chiropractor myself.

Outside of chiropractic, my personal interests revolve around health, fitness and sport. I love endurance sports and strength training. I also enjoy reading and time spent in nature.

I am passionate about chiropractic and truly believe that it has the potential to benefit the lives of all who seek care. I feel incredibly excited and privileged to be able to help others achieve optimal health through chiropractic’s unique healing ability.

I was first introduced to chiropractic from an early age in this very clinic. I was inspired to undertake my own studies in Brisbane after seeing how Chiropractic has benefitted me and my family in each of the different stages of our lives.

I love spending time with my family, walking my two dogs, attending live sporting and cultural events, and enjoying fine foods.

I’ve returned to Toowoomba to hopefully inspire others to reach their full potential through Chiropractic. I love treating people of all ages and enjoy getting to know what makes each person unique while watching them benefit from my chiropractic care and support.

I was fortunate to have been introduced to chiropractic at a young age, having my first adjustment at just 9 days old. I continued with chiropractic throughout my life and it was through this care that I learnt the importance of looking after our bodies and the impact this has on both our physical and emotional well-being.

I train to be healthy and strong, and spend my time at the gym with friends or at the park with my dog. I believe chiropractic is an essential part of living a healthy life. I love helping people of all ages and watching them benefit from chiropractic care.

FAQS

FAQS

What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a health care dicipline based on the scientific premise that the body is a self-regulating and self-healing organism. These important functions are controlled by the brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of the body. The moving bones of the spine protect the intricate communication pathways of the spinal cord and nerve roots. If these nervous system pathways are impaired, malfunction of the tissue and organ function throughout the body can result.

Chiropractic also places an emphasis on nutrition and exercise, wellness and healthy lifestyle modifications.

What type of education do chiropractors receive?

Australian chiropractors are five year university trained, and are government registered and government regulated health professionals.

Is chiropractic care safe?

Chiropractic has an excellent safety record. It is the result of a conservative approach to health that avoids invasive procedures or addictive drugs.

Is chiropractic care appropriate for children?

Since significant trauma can occur at birth, many parents choose to have their newborns checked for any spinal health related problems. Later, learning to walk, riding a bicycle and other childhood related activities can cause spinal health related problems. Naturally, Chiropractic adjusting procedures are modified to a child's spine, particularly babies.

Do I need a referral? What insurance do you accept?

No referral is required. However, a GP can provide a EPC referral if appropriate.

We accept DVA, Transport Accident Cover and Work Cover insurance.
